Securing technical exhibits and machines
Technical machines and exhibits are shown in many museums. Here they can be shown without function or in use. The variety of technical machines is great. Depending on the time of operation, different materials were used for the construction of the machines. Thus, metallic materials have gained in importance over the centuries and are by far the most commonly used today. Modern safety technology must be able to secure exhibits from all eras.
Larger technical exhibits or machines are secured with laser scanners. Since many of these exhibits are made of metal, the use of the HDF-TOUCH capacitive alarm sensor is recommended. It detects the approach of persons before they touch the object.
